Refund and Returns Policy

Effective date: 18 September 2026. This Refund and Returns Policy explains when Fair LSD accepts returns or issues refunds for orders placed in our online shops. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions.

1. Overview

Because we sell both research chemicals and merchandise, return rules differ by product type. Where EU consumer withdrawal rights apply to your purchase, those rights take precedence over any narrower shop policy below.

2. Research chemical products

Research products are specialised goods sold for laboratory and research purposes only (not for human consumption). For hygiene, safety, customs, and product-integrity reasons:

unopened research products may be eligible for return only if we confirm the return in writing before you ship anything back;
opened, partially used, resealed, or contaminated research products are generally not returnable;
we cannot accept returns of research products that were shipped to a destination where import or possession is restricted for the recipient.

Damaged, incorrect, or missing research items

If a research product arrives damaged, is the wrong item, or is missing from the parcel, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the packaging and product. We will arrange a replacement or refund after verifying the issue.

3. Merchandise

Unworn, unwashed merchandise in original condition with tags attached may be returned within 14 days of delivery, unless the item was customised or marked as final sale. Return shipping for change-of-mind merchandise returns is typically at your expense unless we shipped the wrong size or item.

Faulty merchandise

If merchandise is faulty on arrival, contact us within 14 days with photos. We will offer a replacement or refund in line with mandatory consumer law.

4. How to request a return or refund

Email [email protected] with your order number and reason.
Wait for written approval and return instructions before sending anything back.
Use appropriate packaging. Research products must not be returned without our prior written confirmation.

5. Refund timing and method

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible. Bank-transfer orders may take longer to reverse after we confirm receipt/inspection of a return. Processing typically completes within 14 days after we approve the refund (or receive the returned goods, if a return was required).

6. Cancellations before dispatch

If your order has not yet been dispatched, email us as soon as possible. We will cancel and refund when we can still stop fulfilment. Once a parcel is with the carrier, the return rules above apply.

7. Non-delivery and customs

If a shipment is returned to us by the carrier because of an incorrect address you provided, refused delivery, or customs issues attributable to the destination, we may deduct outbound (and return) shipping costs from any refund. You remain responsible for knowing whether you may lawfully receive a product at your address.
